We do so by empowering farmers to produce food and to access markets through participatory training on and adoption of climate-smart innovative technologies and sustainable market linkages. Our priority in this mission is to champion the production and promotion of underutilized high-value climate-smart crops for food, economic growth, and improved livelihood.
Brief on Agriculture Innovative Solution
Agriculture Innovative Solution (AgriIS) is a non-governmental organization registered in Kenya. The vision of AgriIS is to inspire every farmer to profitable farming, wealth creation, and a decent livelihood. Our main objective is to contribute to an increase in agricultural production. We are also determined to champion water harvesting and harnessing the abundant solar energy for agricultural use. Water is an important resource in crop and livestock production but limited effort has been invested in harvesting it for agricultural use. Solar energy is also a readily available but less-utilized resource with the potential to facilitate irrigation and postharvest management of produce such as chilling of milk in areas where electricity is a challenge and to reduce electricity costs.
Vision
AgriIS envisions being an inspiration to every farmer in profitable agriculture, wealth creation, and a decent livelihood.
